Omaha Beef To Hold Second Prime Dancer Audition January 12th

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Beef, professional indoor football team, will hold a second audition for the 2008 Prime Dancers on Saturday, January 12th, beginning at 2 p.m., at Fusion Dance Studio, 16919 Audrey Circle, Suite 70, in Omaha.

The women who made the team in December will not need to audition again.

Women who would like to audition should be at least 18 years of age. An application and waiver/release form are available on www.beeffootball.com under "Tryout Information" on the Omaha Prime page. Completed forms with a $10 pre-registration fee and a 3x5 photo can be sent to: Omaha Beef, 1804 Capitol Avenue, Omaha, NE 68102. Registration the day of will be $15.

Sarah Trimble, Prime Dancers coach, urges interested women to try out for the squad.

"We were very excited with the first tryout," Trimble said. "As a result, we want the opportunity to reach more women with this second tryout."

The Prime Dancers are a select group of women, at least 18 years of age, who help entertain the fans during home games. Not only does the team dance at games, they are active in the Omaha area as they represent the Beef at local events and charitable causes. The team is comprised of the best Omaha has to offer from full-time students to successful businesswomen. These women boast a number of talents in addition to their love of dance.

The Omaha Beef will begin their ninth season in professional indoor football in March 2008. All home games will be played at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Beef are a member of the United Indoor Football Association, the premier indoor football league in America.
