Stella contributed 29 solo tackles and 20 assisted tackles for a total of 39, 5.5 tackles for loss for a loss of 21 yards, one sack for a loss of 10 yards, an interception returned for a touchdown, one pass break up, one quarterback hurry, a forced fumble and recovered a fumble (and ran it back 23 yards for a touchdown). In addition to his defensive stats, he also ran the ball once for two yards and returned one kickoff for 10 yards.
Head Coach Steve Warren is elated to have Stella in the fold for 2008.
"We're very excited to have Randy back," Warren said. "Not only are we expecting a lot out of him, but I know he's expecting a lot of himself. He's one of the key pieces in the puzzle to get where we want to be."
