
Omaha Beef Have Successful Two-Day Tryout Over The Weekend

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Beef, professional indoor football team, had a very successful two-day tryout held this past weekend at the Omaha Sports Complex.
An estimated sixty interested athletes from across the United States attended the tryout.
The players were evaluated on their 225 bench press, vertical reach, 40-yard dash, shuttle, 1-on-1's, 3-on-3's, specific position skills and also game situations.
Head Coach Steve Warren is excited with the tryout results.
"We had a lot of quality athletes that came out for the tryouts," Warren said. "We were very impressed with the athleticism of the players and look to use these tryouts for a springboard into training camp."
The Omaha Beef will begin their ninth season in professional indoor football in March 2008. All home games will be played at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. The Beef are a member of the United Indoor Football Association, the premier indoor football league in America.
