Omaha Beef Announce Radio Parnership with 1620 "The Zone"

Omaha, Nebraska - The Omaha Beef of the United Indoor Football Association is please to announce the details of a new partnership with local radio station AM 1620 "The Zone". This relationship will make "The Zone" the flagship station of the Omaha Beef.

During the 2006 season "The Zone" will broadcast 10 games ‘live' to be carried on 1620 AM. All 15 Beef games will be broadcast on the Internet via www.1620thezone.com. Nick Handley will handle play-by-play duties. As "The Voice of the Beef", Nick will bring energy and enthusiasm to the play-by-play.

The partnership also allows "The Zone" to carry "The Robert Fuller Show". The show will air every Wednesday on 1620 AM from 7-8pm.

Head Coach Robert Fuller says this partnership will give Beef fans a place to turn for information about the team. "The Zone is one of the premier radio programs in the country and we are thrilled to be working with them," says Fuller.

The Omaha Beef are preparing for their season opening contest against the defending UIF champion Sioux Falls Storm. The Beef will kick off their seventh season at 7:35pm on Friday, March 24th at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Season and single game tickets are available by calling the Beef office at 402-346-2333.
