BlueCats Hold Public Scrimmage Saturday

EVANSVILLE, IN: The Evansville BlueCats of United Indoor Football would to like to announce that the team will be having an intra-squad scrimmage this Saturday night at Metro Sports Center. The team is currently in the middle of training camp as they prepare for the upcoming indoor football season. The scrimmage is open to public and will take place from 7:30-9:30pm on Saturday, March 18th.

Admission to this event is free but fans are encouraged to bring an unopened canned or boxed food item that will be donated to the Tri-State Food Bank. These nonperishable goods will be distributed to needy families throughout the tri-state.

Evansville BlueCats Head Coach John Hart said, "Camp has been going very well so far and I'm excited about the opportunity to see how these guys respond in a live game atmosphere. I hope the fans take advantage of this opportunity also to get a good look at the players before the season starts next week. It should be a lot of fun and I know our guys are really looking forward to it."

The players and coaches will be available to meet the fans and sign autographs after the scrimmage. BlueCats tickets and merchandise will be on sale. Free 2006 posters and pocket schedules will be given away. Don't forget to bring a food item to donate to the Tri-State Food Bank.
