
OL Reign Re-Signs Goalkeeper Laurel Ivory Through 2024

SEATTLE, WA. - OL Reign has re-signed goalkeeper Laurel Ivory through the 2024 NWSL season, the club announced today. Per league and club policy, the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Laurel returning is great news for the club. She has proven in a short period of time that she has a bright future in the NWSL and as a professional," said general manager Lesle Gallimore. "Her work ethic, soccer acumen, and presence on and away from the pitch are a vital part of the culture on our team. She is a talented goalkeeper whose stock will only continue to rise."
Ivory made her NWSL debut during the 2023 UKG NWSL Challenge Cup and totaled four starts throughout the tournament. Over the four matches, the second-year goalkeeper recorded three clean sheets, eight saves and amassed a save percentage of 88.9 percent. The University of Virginia graduate finished the tournament as one of three goalkeepers to record at least three clean sheets during the Challenge Cup, joining teammate Claudia Dickey.
