
OL Reign Re-Signs Defender Alyssa Malonson to One-Year Deal

SEATTLE, WA. - OL Reign has re-signed defender Alyssa Malonson through the 2024 NWSL season, the club announced today. Per league and club policy, the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"The club is pleased to have Alyssa Malonson continue with us into 2024," said general manager Lesle Gallimore. "She's a gifted player who has shown dramatic improvement since joining the league and we look forward to her continued development and impact."
The second-year defender out of Auburn University totaled nine appearances for the club between the 2023 regular season and UKG NWSL Challenge Cup, recording a combined 16 duels won, 13 clearances, seven interceptions and six tackles won. Malonson also earned her first assist with OL Reign during a Challenge Cup game against the Portland Thorns on June 28.
