Seattle Reign FC News Release
SEATTLE, WA. - OL Reign today announced that the club has broken its single-match attendance record and expanded capacity to the upper bowl at Lumen Field for the Forever Reign: A Celebration of Megan Rapinoe match, being played on Friday, October 6 at 5:00 p.m. PT.
"October 6 will be a very special day in Seattle as we come together to celebrate a global icon playing in her final home game of the regular season," said Vice President of Ticketing and Marketing Michelle Haines. "Megan has proudly represented this club and our city for over a decade, so we're prepared to pack Lumen and honor her during this final stretch of her career."
After passing the club's all-time attendance record of 21,491 for this unique game, OL Reign has its eyes on the single-game league attendance record of 32,000 set by San Diego Wave FC last season. With a push for the playoffs on the line and an opportunity to witness Rapinoe one last time in front of a record-breaking crowd, fans are encouraged to act quickly and secure their tickets to ensure they are a part of history.
