Phoenix, Ariz. - The world champion Arizona Rattlers have been assigned offensive lineman Mark Jackson for the rest of the 2015 Arena Football League (AFL) season. This is Jackson's second season in the AFL and first with the Arizona Rattlers.

The 6-foot-6, 335-pound Jackson had spent the 2014 season and the first half of the 2015 season with the Spokane Shock, where he started at both guard and tight end. While the Shock primarily used Jackson for protection, he did have two touchdown catches, as well as 36 receiving yards. Jackson also previously spent time in 2013 with the National Football League's (NFL) Minnesota Vikings.

Prior to his professional career, Jackson attended the University of Illinois before transferring to DuPage Junior College. After playing one season at DuPage, Jackson transferred again to Glenville State College where he earned first-team All-WVIAC honors at left tackle in three consecutive seasons from 2010-2012.

The Arizona Rattlers (15-4) will face the San Jose SaberCats (18-1) in the National Conference championship Saturday, August 22nd at 5 p.m. at the Stockton Arena in Stockton, California. The game will be nationally televised on ESPNEWS and streamed online at ESPN3.com or the WatchESPN app on a tablet or smartphone. For additional information please visit www.azrattlers.com.
