
Oklahoma City defeats Tacoma

Tacoma Wash. - The Tacoma Rainiers (55-55) fell to the Oklahoma City Dodgers (58-50) by a final score of 3-1 Tuesday night at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.
Rainiers starting pitcher Andrew Moore allowed two runs on seven hits across four innings, adding four strikeouts during his second loss of the season.
Shortstop Taylor Motter (1x3, R, HR, RBI, BB,) and third baseman Danny Muno (2x3, 2 2B, BB) led the way for the Rainiers on offense in the losing effort.
Oklahoma City opened the scoring during the bottom of the third with an RBI single from Max Muncy, scoring Todd Cunningham and giving the Dodgers a 1-0 lead.
Motter countered with a solo home run down the left field line - his first with Tacoma - that tied the game at 1-1 in the fourth.
The Dodgers crushed a couple of solo home runs in the fourth and fifth to regain and extend their lead to 3-1.
The Rainiers have an off-day Wednesday before beginning a four-game series with the Memphis Redbirds on Thursday. Right hander Christian Bergman (8-2, 4.61) will get the start for Tacoma and Memphis has yet to announce their starter. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
