OKC Dodgers Feature Full Slate of Entertainment and Special Promotions for 2016

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Dodgers have a full schedule of family-friendly entertainment and promotions ahead for the 2016 season at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, from fireworks nights to performances by national acts like the ZOOperstars!, as well as a Corey Seager bobblehead giveaway.
The OKC Dodgers open the home portion of their schedule at 7:05 p.m. Friday, April 15 against the Nashville Sounds and feature 72 home games throughout the 2016 season.
Friday Night Fireworks
Fireworks will follow the Opening Night game as one of 13 scheduled fireworks nights at the ballpark. In addition to the home opener, fireworks are slated to follow every Friday night home game and will be part of the Dodgers' Independence Day celebration Monday, July 4.
$2 Thursdays
All Thursday home games will once again feature $2 soft drinks, bottled water and select 16-ounce beers.
Chaparral Energy Family Sundays
Chaparral Energy Family Sundays will be filled with family fun activities everyone can enjoy, including player autographs, inflatable games, face painters, and a craft station. Mascots Brooklyn and Brix along with members of the Blue Cr?e will be available for a pregame meet-and-greet outside of the ballpark on the Johnny Bench Plaza. Kids can run the bases following the game.
Giveaway Nights
The OKC Dodgers have four giveaway nights scheduled, with the first 2,000 fans through the gates receiving the following items:
- May 14 - Baseball hat
- June 25 - Picture frame featuring mascot Brix
- July 9 - Straw tumbler
- Aug. 12 - Corey Seager bobblehead
Outside Entertainment Acts
Outside entertainment acts also dot the OKC Dodgers schedule:
- April 22 - ZOOperstars!
- May 20 - Xpogo Stunt Team
- June 10 - BMX Trickstars
- Aug. 27 - OKC Disc Dogs
Braum's Friends and Family Nights
Eight Braum's Friends and Family Nights are featured, allowing groups of 10 or more people to receive a game ticket, OKC Dodgers hat and a Braum's restaurant voucher starting at just $10 each. The dates for Braum's Friends and Family Nights are April 15, May 14, May 21, June 11, June 25, July 9, Aug. 6 and Aug. 27.
Devon Energy Hometown Heroes
The OKC Dodgers will host two Military Celebration Nights on Saturday, May 14 and Friday, Aug. 19 to recognize local service men and women and their families through the Devon Energy Hometown Heroes program. Special group rates are available for groups of 10 or more.
Pack the Park Pink, Presented by MidFirst Bank
Dodgers players and coaches will wear pink jerseys and fans are encouraged to wear pink on Saturday, Aug. 6 as the OKC Dodgers Pack the Park Pink with MidFirst Bank. A silent auction will take place during the game where fans can bid to own the game-worn, autographed pink jerseys with proceeds benefitting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Yoga Night
Fans can purchase a special yoga package for the Sunday, May 15 game to participate in a postgame yoga session in the outfield. For $25, fans will receive a ticket to the game, a Dodgers yoga mat, a Dodgers hat and can take the field after the game for a yoga session.
Faith and Family Night
Join your church family for a night of fun and fellowship, featuring a postgame concert by Finding Favour on Sunday, July 10. Tickets cost $15 each for groups of 10 or more and include a limited-edition OKC Dodgers baseball hat.
INTEGRIS Home Run For Life
The INTEGRIS Home Run For Life series returns this season, featuring Oklahomans who have overcome medical hardships. These individuals will mark the end of their battle against adversity with a celebratory lap around the bases during games on April 15, May 20, June 24, July 22 and Aug. 26.
Love's Baseball Buddies
Love's Baseball Buddies will take the field during select games throughout the season. Children ages 7-12 can enter to be randomly selected to have the chance to hang out in the Dodgers' dugout prior to the game, meet players, be introduced over the public address system like a player and run out on the field with the team. Those selected will also receive an OKC Dodgers T-shirt and baseball hat. Entries can be made online at: bit.ly/LovesBaseballBuddies.
2016 Group Theme Nights
- Boy Scout Night - April 16: Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops are invited to enjoy the game and participate in an on-field parade. Tickets cost $14 and include a limited-edition OKC Dodgers baseball hat and patch.
- Field Trip Days - May 4 and May 17: These 11:05 a.m. games give students the chance to enjoy one last field trip before the school year ends. An OKC Dodgers baseball hat, sack lunch and a ticket cost $12 per person.
- DHS Night - May 14: As part of DHS employee appreciation month, friends and families of Oklahoma DHS employees can purchase tickets for $13 each, including an OKC Dodgers baseball hat.
- Moore Youth Baseball Association Family Night - May 20: An on-field parade prior to the game will feature youth teams from the Moore Youth Baseball Association. Tickets cost $15 and include a limited-edition OKC Dodgers hat and postgame fireworks.
- Girl Scout Night - May 21: Girl Scouts and Leaders in uniform will be invited to participate in a pregame on-field parade. Tickets cost $15, including an OKC Dodgers hat and patch.
- Future Dodgers Nights - June 3, June 11 and June 26: Youth baseball teams are invited out for a pregame parade on the field and tickets will include a souvenir OKC Dodgers hat.
- Edmond All Sports Association Family Night - June 10: Youth team players and coaches for the Edmond All Sports Association wearing their uniform can participate in an on-field parade before the game. Tickets cost $13 and include an OKC Dodgers baseball hat.
- Summer Field Trip Days - June 15 and June 28: Camps, daycares and retirement communities are encouraged to come out to these 11:05 a.m. games for a summer field trip. An OKC Dodgers hat, sack lunch and ticket are included for the price of $12 per person.
- Softball Night - June 24: Youth softball teams from across the state will be recognized and players and coaches in uniform can participate in a pregame parade on the field. Ticket prices include an OKC Dodgers baseball hat.
Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship
May 25-29 the Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship returns to Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for the 11th time in the past 12 years, and for the 16th time overall. All-session passes are now available, ranging from $69-$169. Group packages are also available.
Bedlam Series
The OKC Dodgers will host a Bedlam Series game between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Oklahoma State Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 13. Ticket prices range from $14-$38. Fans also can purchase a special OKC Dodgers Bedlam Ticket Package, featuring a field seat to the Bedlam game as well as five weekend Dodgers games for $79.
