TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's St. Louis Blues, trimmed its training camp roster by three Sunday. The Oilers released forwards Samuel Rice, Kyle Sharkey and Bobby Watson from their tryout agreements.
Tulsa now has 21 players on its roster, consisting of 11 forwards, seven defensemen and three goaltenders.
Training camp practice is open to the public Monday and Tuesday, before the team heads to the BOK Center on Wednesday for Media Day.
The Oilers begin their fourth ECHL season Friday when the Kansas City Mavericks come to Tulsa for a 7:05pm start on York Plumbing Ice at the BOK Center.
