
Oilers Netminder Named Warrior Goalie of the Month

GLENDALE, AZ - The Central Hockey League announced today that Oilers goaltender Shane Madolora has been named the Warrior Goalie of the Month for February. Madolora will receive a special gift from Warrior and the CHL to recognize his achievement.
A 26-year old rookie, Madolora was steady and often spectacular in the Oilers net during February when he posted a 6-3-1 record and went 3-0 in shootouts.
Over the month, the California native recorded a 2.54 goals against average and an outstanding .933 save percentage. Madolora earned his first professional shutout in February with a 39 save performance at home against Arizona and was named the CHL Goalie of the Week for the period ending February 17.
A product of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Madolora ranks in the top ten in the league in minutes, saves, and save percentage. He has started 27 of the Oilers last 30 games.
