Prescott Valley, AZ - March Madness invades the Arizona Sundogs with various unique events scheduled for their remaining March games.
As the Arizona Sundogs begin to wrap up their 2012-13 regular season in the Central Hockey League they have recently announced a few unique events scheduled for their upcoming games.
During the two-game set against the Wichita Thunder, the Sundogs will host Spanky Spangler on Friday March 15th. Spanky Spangler who is known for his death defying stunts holds 22 world records and has been inducted into three separate, Stuntman Hall of Fames. Spanky Spangler began his career in stunts when he was 12 years old and in honor of his courageous stunts the state of Arizona named September 13th the official Spanky Spangler Day.
On Saturday March 16th the Sundogs look to capture the spirit of St. Patrick's Day when they paint the ice green, presented by Hooligan's Pub.
The Sundogs will close out their regular season when they host the Fort Worth Brahmas for three games beginning March 20th. Lucky bride and groom to be, Amore Cianciola and Bradley Barker will exchange their vows during the Sundogs' first ever, on-ice wedding. The happy couple will be sporting a Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Maple Leafs jersey as the Sundogs' mascot Burnie presents their rings. Following the game, Christian bands Saturated in Praise and Covenant31 will perform in a live concert. Admission to the concert is free with the purchase of a Sundogs game ticket for the March 22nd game.
On Saturday, March 23rd the Sundogs will present their third annual Salute to Heros with events taking place outside Tim's Toyota Center from 12:00pm-5:00pm. Various first response teams and military vehicles will be on hand, with live demonstrations taking place throughout the afternoon.
