
Oilers Assign Defenseman Jeff Petry to Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City - The Edmonton Oilers have assigned defenseman Jeff Petry to Oklahoma City, the Barons front office announced today.
Petry, 23, appeared in three games with the Oilers this season collecting two penalty minutes
The 6-3,196 pound Ann Arbor, Michigan native, spent 41 games in Oklahoma City last season, recording 24 points (7-17-24) and 18 penalty minutes and was -6 for the season. Petry played in all six of the Barons' playoff games and recorded one assist.
Last season he played 35 games with Edmonton, in the NHL, scoring a goal and totaling four assists.
Petry was drafted by the Oilers in the 2nd round, 45th overall, in 2006.
