Tulsa Oilers News Release

For the third straight season, the Tulsa Oilers are teaming up with local establishments to host a series of watch parties for the Stanley Cup final.

Oiler coach Dan Hodge, players, and other team personnel will be at area locations to watch all the games of the Stanley Cup final. This year's final series will match the Pittsburgh Penguins against either the Detroit Red Wings or Dallas Stars. Detroit and Dallas play game six of their best of seven series Monday night, with Detroit leading three games to two.

"These have been a lot of fun the past two years, and with us having had the Stanley Cup here back in March, that should add to it this year," Hodge (whose father Ken won the Stanley Cup with the Boston Bruins in 1970 and 1972) said. "We just had a great event with our ice breaker party on Sunday and the watch parties will give our fans more chance to interact with our players and learn about the BOK Center."

The Oiler watch parties will take place at Side Line Sports Bar and Grill 58^th and Lewis; Sports Fan Attic in the Farm Shopping Center at 51^st and Sheridan; CiCi's Pizza at 91^st and Memorial; Buffalo Wild Wings North 20^th Street in Broken Arrow; Danny Bob's Hideout 8888 South Lewis (in the Days Inn Motel); Winner's Circle at I-244 and Garnett (in the Best Western Airport Motel) and Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs in Claremore (two miles east of Claremore on Highway 20).

The exact dates for each location will be determined once the Stanley Cup final schedule is announced by the National Hockey League.

Season tickets for the Oilers 2008-09 season in the new BOK Center are available by calling the Oilers at (918) 632-PUCK (7825).
