Ultimate Fans Meet Coach Murphy

[RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-Scorpions head coach Randy Murphy enjoyed lunch last week with Qwest Ultimate Fan Sweepstakes winner Mary McMillan. George Parascandola also was winner in the contest but was unable to attend the lunch.

McMillan entered the contest through the Scorpions website at www.scorpionshockey.com during the month of March. She was randomly selected from the hundreds on entrants.

The winners also each received two tickets to sit in the "ice box" when the Scorpions took on their rivals the Amarillo Gorillas on March 22nd. Qwest also threw in two hats and two t-shirts for each winner.

During intermission, the ultimate fans were brought onto the ice and recognized in front of the Santa Ana Star Center crowd. The winners were all smiles as the fans gave them a thunderous ovation.
