Tulsa Oilers News Release

You can call Tulsa Oilers right winger Jeff Christian, the professor and the Oilers home arena the BOK Center, the palace. At least that's how others around the Central Hockey League view them.

The results of the annual CHL "Best of the Best" poll have been published in the Loveland Reporter Herald. The poll is an unofficial survey of 46 different categories involving players, fans, arenas, and more around the CHL. Players, team officials and media members vote in the poll.

Christian was voted the smartest player in the league and ranked third as the best playmaker in the league. The BOK Center was voted the top arena in the league and was also voted the top locker rooms. In addition, the Oilers ice girls finished third in the best cheerleaders/dance team category, and the Oilers host hotel, the Crowne Plaza downtown also ranked third among voters.

The top three finishers in all 46 categories are available for viewing at www.ledgerherald.com.

The Oilers finish their home schedule at the BOK Center on Wednesday March 18th against the Mississippi RiverKings at 7:05 p.m. Season ticket holders who renew their tickets by paying them off in full by that date receive a five percent discount.
