
Oil Kings Announce First Two Home Dates of WHL Championship Series

Edmonton Oil Kings News Release
Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings will take on either the Kamloops Blazers or the Seattle Thunderbirds in the 2022 WHL Championship Series.
The Oil Kings will have home ice advantage in the series as they await the winner of the WHL's Western Conference Championship, which Kamloops currently leads 3-2.
After sweeping the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Red Deer Rebels in the first two rounds of the WHL Playoffs, the Oil Kings secured the Eastern Conference Championship by defeating the Winnipeg ICE in five games.
WHL Championship schedule:
Game 1 - @ Edmonton, Friday, June 3 @ 7:00 PM MT - Rogers Place
Game 2 - @ Edmonton, Sunday, June 5 @ 4:00 PM MT - Rogers Place

Tickets for both games are now on-sale at oilkings.ca.
The full schedule for the series will be released as soon as an opponent is confirmed.
