OHL Announces Mark Hunter as 2023 Top GM

The London Knights are proud to announce that the Ontario Hockey League has awarded Knights Vice President and General Manager, Mark Hunter as the 2023 Jim Gregory Award winner for the League's top General Manager.
As voted on by other OHL GM's Mark was named the finalist for the Western Conference alongside the Eastern Conference nominee, Adam Dennis (North Bay Battalion) - a London Knight graduate and goaltender for the 2005 London Knights Memorial Cup Champions. Voting took place with representatives from around the OHL and with media representatives and a representative from NHL Central Scouting.
"I'm very honoured to receive this award in the name of the late Jim Gregory. He was so highly respected in our great game of hockey and set a high standard of leadership. It's a very proud moment for the London Knights organization. This is first and foremost a team award, and I'd like to take the opportunity to recognize everyone in the Knights community who came together during a very challenging season. Losing Abakar was tremendously difficult for all of us, and the players, their families, our staff and billet families all had a part in helping us persevere as an organization. Under Mark's leadership the Knights won their sixteenth Midwest Division Title and seventh Western Conference Championship.
