Ogunbowale Pours in 35, Reaches 500 Career Points in Win at Chicago

Rookie of the Year candidate Arike Ogunbowale became the sixteenth rookie to eclipse 500 career points after pouring in 35 points in the Dallas Wings (10-20) 88-83 win over the Chicago Sky (18-13). She is the lone rookie to ever have multiple 35-point games and joins Candance Parker as the only first-year player to score 35 points, hand out five assists and grab five rebounds in a single-game.
Ogunbowale is the sole rookie in WNBA history to ever have seven consecutive games of 20 or more and it's the twenty-fifth such streak in WNBA history, second in franchise history. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native is the tenth rookie in league history to have multiple 30-point games and this is the fourteenth time this season she has scored 20 or more.
Isabelle Harrison added her third double-double of the season in the victory, collecting a season-high tying 18 points and 12 rebounds for her first career back-to-back double-doubles. Allisha Gray recorded 16 points and Glory Johnson added 10. It's the fourth game of 15 or more for Harrison this season, the sixth for Gray and the tenth double-digit scoring game of the season for Johnson.
The Sky never led by more than five points and Dallas battled through the score being tied nine times. The Wings outscored Chicago in 2nd Chance Points (17/10) and in fast break points (10/7).
Dallas travels back home to take on the Washington Mystics Saturday, August 31 at 7 p.m.
