Ogden Raptors Participate in Inaugural All-Star Game

SPOKANE - Two Ogden Raptors represented the Pioneer League in the 2015 Northwest/Pioneer League All-Star game on Tuesday night. The Northwest League won the game 6-5 on a walk-off double in the bottom of the tenth inning.

Sell was selected as the league's starting left fielder with Jones replacing him in the sixth inning.

Sell grounded out to third base in his two at-bats in the second and fourth innings. He also recorded a putout in left field in the bottom of the second.

Jones was likewise 0-for-2 in his two at-bats, striking out both times. He was called out on strikes to end the top of the sixth inning and struck out swinging in the eighth. He recorded three putouts in left field.

Earlier that day, Matt Jones was one of three Pioneer League All-Stars who participated in the home run derby, hitting three home runs in the opening round. Missoula's Luke Lowery hit eight home runs to lead the Pioneer League and defeated Spokane's LeDarious Clark on a tiebreaker in the final round.
