Mobile, Ala - The Seattle Mariners made the following roster moves today that affects the Jackson Generals roster.

- OF Joe Dunigan has been promoted to AAA Tacoma

- OF Jabari Blash activated from A+ High Desert

DUNIGAN, 27, played in 3 games this week for the Generals and batted .273 (3x11) with a home run and 2 RBIs. Dunigan was injured on April 18th while playing for Triple-A Tacoma when he was hit in the jaw by a pitch in a game vs. Fresno. He had appeared in 4 games for AAA Tacoma going 2-for-14, with a home run. Dunigan returned to action July 1st for the AZL Mariners on a rehab assignment and hit .333 with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs. Dunigan led the Generals last season with 25 home runs and 72 RBIs last season. He has played in 245 games for Jackson since 2010 and has a .233 average with 42 home runs and 144 RBIs. Dunigan attended the University of Oklahoma and was selected in the fifth round of the 2007 draft by the Mariners.

BLASH, 24, played in 80 games this season for High Desert, batting .258 (73x283) with 16 doubles, 3 triples, 16 home runs and 53 RBIs. Blash has also stolen 14 bases this season. Blash was the Mariners' 8th round draft choice in 2010 out of Miami Dade (FL) Community College. He also graduated from Charlotte Amalie High School in St. Thomas,

Virgin Islands. He was born in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands

Jackson's roster currently is at 25 players, with 4 on the disabled list.
