Oaks reveal 2007 promotional lineup

VISALIA, CA - With ballpark renovations underway and a jam-packed promotional lineup ready to go, the Visalia Oaks continue to build excitement for the 2007 season.
For the first time in team history, the Oaks will have fireworks for all eleven Friday night games at Recreation Park with a special extended show on Tuesday, July 3rd. Also for the first time in team history, all Saturdays will now include a giveaway for the first 500 fans. This year's lineup features many exciting items including Brandon Webb Bobbleheads on April 14th, Margarita Glasses on June 16th, and1971 Championship logo baseballs on June 30th. There will also be several one-of-a-kind promotional nights.
24 Night (Saturday, May 12th)
This night will be all about FOX Television's drama 24. Prizes autographed from the stars of the show will be auctioned off for charity. The first 500 fans will receive a 24 promotional item and free prizes will be distributed throughout the night.
Breast Cancer Awareness Night (Sunday, May 13th)
This will be a very special Mother's Day honoring breast cancer survivors and promoting awareness. All Oaks players will wear Pink Jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the game with the proceeds going to breast cancer research.
Dairy Night (Saturday, May 27th)
This annual promotion received national attention last year from ESPN The Magazine. It was rated one of the best minor league promotions of 2006. This year there will be a new twist, as all the Oaks players will wear Holstein Print Jerseys. There will also be a variety of milk-related competitions involving players and fans.
"Thirsty Thursdays" return when domestic beer and soda is just $1. Family Funday Sundays now include 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas, and 4 scorecards for just $20. The Oaks KidsZone will be set up every Sunday with a bounce house, speed pitch, and other family-friendly games.
