HARRISON, N.J. - New York Red Bulls II (1-10-2, 5 points) will travel to face Loudoun United FC (2-8-2, 8 points) on Wednesday, June 8, at Segra Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN+.
Red Bulls II will look to build off its 2-2 draw against San Diego Loyal SC on Thursday, June 2, at Red Bull Arena. Like New York, Loudoun is coming off a draw of its own, a 1-1 result against the Charleston Battery on Saturday, May 28.
The match will mark the second meeting of the season between the two sides, with Loudoun taking the first, 3-0, on March 19 at MSU Soccer Park. The all-time series is tied 4-4-1, with New York taking three of four meetings at Segra Field.
In five of the last six meetings between the sides, at least one club has scored three or more goals. New York has scored three or more times in three of the last four matches.
Red Bulls Academy midfielder Sam Williams is coming off the San Diego match, where he scored his first professional goal. He has already surpassed his starts and minutes total from 2021 and ranks second among the top 25 youngest players in USL Championship in minutes with 839.
New York sits 13th in the Eastern Conference while Loudoun ranks 11th.
Following the match, New York will return home to face FC Tulsa on Wednesday, June 15. The match will mark the club's second annual Pride Night. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET with coverage available on ESPN+.
