Modesto Nuts News Release
The Modesto Nuts return to John Thurman Field on Tuesday to begin a 7-game homestand against the Lancaster JetHawks and the Visalia Oaks. The Nuts finished the road trip with five wins and two losses to bring their season record to an even .500, 9-9.
Geoff Strickland is leading the Nuts with a .306 batting average and 8 stolen bases. Michael McKenry and Victor Ferrante lead the club with 10 RBI each. Outfielder Cole Garner had a great road trip that raised his batting average to .280 for the season.
