Minnesota United FC News Release
BLAINE, Minn. (May 3, 2011) - The NSC Minnesota Stars are asking fans to think back on their own special moments in the game. The Stars launched the "My Moment" program at their home opener to give their supporters an opportunity to share memorable moments from their own time on the field. The program began with Stars captain Kyle Altman sharing his memories of one of his first goals.
Fans are invited to visit NSCMinnesota.com and share their story by clicking on the "My First Goal" image on the home page. Every week, the Stars will offer a different prompt - best goal, best save, biggest win, etc. - in the week leading up to every home match. A Stars player will introduce each prompt.
The Stars will periodically post fan submissions to their website and Facebook pages. One randomly selected winner each week will win a set of four pitch side tickets to the next Stars home game. The Stars next play this Saturday, May 7, against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available by calling 763-792-7355 or by visiting NSCMinnesota.com and clicking the Tickets tab in the main menu.
