
Norsemen Take Down Magicians as Playoff Push Continues ÃâÃÂ

St. Cloud, MN - The St. Cloud Norsemen pulled away from the Minnesota Magicians en route to a 6-2 victory at home on Saturday night.
Mid-way through the first, Hunter Hanson sniped the opening goal into the back of the net, giving the Norsemen the 1-0 lead.
Early in the second, Chase Freiermuth added to the Norsemen lead with his 7th of the season. Hunter Longhi put the Magicians on the board before Brett Chorske answered for the Norsemen, taking the 3-1 advantage. Colin Stein would conclude the second with a Magicians goal to bring the game to a 3-2 contest.
Cooper Gay scored on a breakaway to open the third period, giving way to two more St. Cloud goals by Blake Perbix and Jack Reimann.
With the win, the Norsemen improve to 22-30-1 and will take on the Austin Bruins on Sunday, May 9, at 7:00PM in St. Cloud, MN. Mark Shelley will provide the Play-By-Play on the Lyon Sheet Metal & Heating Norsemen Network beginning at 6:50PM on HockeyTV.
