Norsemen Skaters Assist with Miracle League Games
October 3, 2022 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
St. Cloud Norsemen News Release
The work for the Norsemen players isn't over once they leave the ice. A few weeks ago the St. Cloud Norsemen had the opportunity to assist with the Miracle League Games and give back to the surrounding community. Your St. Cloud Norsemen were able to bring excitement and energy to the participants along with parents and spectators.
Jamie Mortland was quoted: "I have to tell you, your boys stepped up in a very big way! Two of them even stepped in to coach the last game...they made lifelong friends last night due to their presence on the field pitching, catching, cheering and coaching."
"They impacted those kids as well as the families that were able to leave their kids in your players hands versus having to be on the field with them. They got to watch and enjoy! That in itself is a very big thing."
