ÃÂ St. Cloud, MN - The St. Cloud Norsemen could not overcome a two-goal deficit in the third period as they fell to the Bismarck Bobcats 4-2 on Friday night.
The Bobcats jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with goals from Ben Troumbly and Will Magnuson before Jordon Halverson cut the lead in half with his first goal in a Norsemen sweater.
In the second, Bismarck regained the two-goal lead as Austin Schwartz scored before Jack Suchy would, again, answer for the Norsemen to cut the lead to 3-2.
Schwartz would find the back of the net for the second time on the night in the third period to give the Bobcats the 4-2 victory.
With the loss, the Norsemen fall to 5-14-0 and will take on the Minnesota Magicians on Saturday, February 6 at 7:00PM in Richfield, MN. Mark Shelley will provide the Play-By-Play on the Lyon Sheet Metal & Heating Norsemen Network beginning at 6:55PM on HockeyTV.
