NJ/NY Gotham FC News Release
Harrison, N.J. - The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) today announced the broadcast schedule for the 2021 NWSL season. All 24 Gotham FC matches will air live on Paramount+, CBS Sports Network (CBSSN), or Twitch. All matches will continue to be streamed live internationally on Twitch.
The league also announced time changes to previously announced matches to accommodate the broadcast lineup. The match scheduled on Sunday, August 29 against Orlando Pride originally set to kick off at 5:00 p.m. ET will now kick off at 5:30 p.m ET. All other Gotham FC matches remain unchanged.
CBSSN will air at least two Gotham FC matches during the season. A rematch of the 2021 Challenge Cup Championship at Providence Park on August 25 and a home fixture against the Washington Spirit on October 6 are both set to air on CBSSN. CBS Sports will select its final two regular season CBSSN matches later this season. Gotham FC's final two matches of the season will be updated with broadcast information once the lineup has been finalized.
Gotham FC plays in the 2021 Challenge Cup Final tomorrow, Saturday, May 8, against the Portland Thorns at Providence Park. The series-deciding final will air live on CBS and Twitch (international) with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m. ET. Following the Challenge Cup, Gotham FC will play their first 2021 NWSL regular season home game, on Saturday, May 15, at Red Bull Arena.
