August 4, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
New Jersey SkyCats News Release
The expansion New Jersey Jaguars of the American Basketball Association have signed an agreement with Parisi Speed School, of Fair Lawn, NJ. As part of the agreement, Parisi has been named the official strength and speed coaches of the Jaguars. A nationally recognized training facility, Parisi Speed School (www.parisischool.com) has provided speed training programs for professional and amateur athletes, in a number of sports, for over 10 years, serving individual as well as team needs.
"I am pleased to have partnered up with one of the premiere strength and conditioning professionals in the country," said Jaguar Owner/President Ron Eford when announcing the agreement. "They have proven to provide the best service and technique to pro athletes, and amateur athletes, in terms of speed and strength improvement. Our players will benefit a great deal from their expertise. I felt it was important for our players to be trained in all aspects of physical fitness."
The expansion Jaguars will begin their inagural season as part of the ABA in November. All home games will be played at the newly constructed Bill Bradley Center on the campus of Ramapo College in Mahwah, NJ.
