Nashville Rhythm announce second free agent tryout
August 4, 2004 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Nashville Rhythm News Release
Nashville, TN. The ABA Nashville Rhythm professional basketball team today announced its second tryout camp to be held August 28th from 8AM-4PM in Memphis, TN. The location will be announced shortly. The cost for each player will be $125. Visit www.nashvillerhythm.com for details and registration forms; the camp will be limited to the first 50 players.
According to Nashville coach Ashley McElhiney, "This is another fantastic opportunity to find players that may not otherwise have the chance to play professional basketball. The ABA is truly a league of opportunity and I look forward to finding some key personnel from Memphis and surrounding areas."
McElhiney continued, "These tryout camps really work. You can't believe the level of talent, the outstanding skills some of these young men exhibit. We've just signed one from the last camp and invited six others to our training camp in November. If pro basketball is in your dreams, we hope you'll attend the camp.
