
Nighthawks Win In Overtime

Rockville, MD. In a very tough ABA game, the Maryland Nighthawks pulled out an overtime victory over a very tough and competitive Strong Island Sound team, 106-104. Nighthawks forward and ABA Player of the Week, Ray Cunningham, lived up to the honor by scoring 21 points and pulling down 21 rebounds while Lawrence Moten added 23 points and center Kevin Robinson had 7 blocked shots.
