March 25, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maryland NightHawks News Release
The Maryland Nighthawks quest for the ABA title fell one game short last night, March 22, 2005, as the Bellevue Blackhawks defeated the Hawks at the ShowPlace arena 133 to 120. The Nighthawks send their congratulations to the Blackhawks and wish them luck in the title game against the Arkansas Rimrockers on Saturday March, 26, 2005 in Arkansas.
The Nighthawks organization would like to thank all of our fans and sponsors who have made the first year of the Maryland Nighthawks franchise a historic one. The Nighthawks will be conducting basketball camps and clinics in the area this spring and summer as well as having other major announcements. Please continue to visit our web site or call the Nighthawks for questions or appearances. (301) 758-1090.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
