The Strong Dogs were trailing by two points, 28.9 seconds remaining with the possession. Courtney Fields grabbed one of his seven offensive rebounds and then was fouled. He missed one of two shots from the foul line and Kentucky scored another basket off the break.

Next and last Strong Dogs' possession with 5.5 seconds to go, D'Quarius Stewart (10 points) launched a game-tying 3-point shot, but it was rimmed out as the buzzer sounded.

Tobe Carberry led the Strong Dogs with 32 points and Tyron "Alimoe" Evans had 26 points, 14 rebounds and three steals. Fileds recorded 14 points and 14 rebounds.
