
Nighthawks Continue Winning Ways

Rockville, MD; The Maryland Nighthawks continued to roll through their regular season with back to back wins over the weekend. On Saturday, January 28, 2006 the Nighthawks destroyed the Pittsburgh Xplosion 122 to 99. Next up on Sunday was a very tough Strong Island Sound team. After trailing much of the game, the Nighthawks put on a fourth quarter scoring frenzy led by sharpshooter Frank "The Sniper" McQueen to win the game 109 to 103. The Nighthawks are now 18 and 5 for the season. The Hawks travel to Montreal, Canada on Friday, February 3, 2006 to play the Montreal Matrix. The Nighthawks next home game will be Sunday, February 19, 2006 at 6:00 PM to play host to Darryl Dawkins' Newark Express.
