Nico Figal, Federico Higuaín Named to MLS Team of the Week

After a tremendous team performance over the weekend, two Inter Miami players have been named to the MLS Team of the Week. Argentine defender Nicolás Figal and midfielder Federico Higuaín were both named to this week's best eleven by MLS.

Figal played 90 minutes in Philadelphia and provided the assist for the team's second goal, after a brilliant dribble and cross into the box. During his time on the field, he completed 79% of his passes, registered an assist, and participated in 16 duels.

Federico Higuaín, meanwhile, was brought into the match in the 62nd minute and had an immediate impact on the team's comeback win, including the assist to the tying goal in the 73rd minute, and the game-winning goal in the 83rd. During his time on the field, he completed 86% of his passes, tallied an assist, scored a goal, and won seven duels. His goal also made MLS history, as it meant the Higuaín brothers became the first pair of brothers to each score in the same MLS match.
