Nick St. Pierre Returned To Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Nick St. Pierre has been returned to the Royals from the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL. St. Pierre registered two assists in five games with the Crunch. St. Pierre is expected to appear in his first game as a Royal tonight. Also, in a separate transaction, forward Olivier Labelle has been activated from the 7-Day Injured Reserve. Tonight's game will also mark the first appearance for Labelle as a Royal. In other transactions announced today, forward Kyle Laughlin was placed on the 3-Day Injured Reserve; and forward Daniel Steiner was transferred from the 3-Day Injured Reserve to the 7-Day Injured Reserve. Also today, defenseman Nicholas Bilotto was released by the Royals. In a transaction previously completed, the Royals added Dan Tormey as the team's Emergency Back-Up Goaltender.

The Royals kick off a five game home stand on tonight (7:05 pm) when the Toledo Walleye visit the Sovereign Center for the first time in team history. Thursday is a WAWA Weekday, and fans can pick up a coupon to get $5.00 a game night ticket at any local WAWA. As always with a WAWA Weekday, hotdogs, popcorn, nachos and soda are just $1.00. Also, that night is a Thirsty Thursday with Coors Light Draft just $2.00.
