Salmon Kings Announce Family Day And 'Bike To The Game'

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Manitoba Moose and Vancouver Canucks, announced today their "Family Day" and "Bike-to-the-Game" ticket promotions for this weekend.
This Sunday, November 1st, the Salmon Kings present their "Family Day" and "Bike to the game" ticket promotions. The Family Day promotion allows fans to obtain an adult ticket, a child ticket, and a voucher for a free popcorn for only $30! Also on Sunday, anyone who arrives to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre via bike will receive a $5 coupon on a walk-up ticket redeemable at the box office. The coupon will be redeemable for Sunday's game only, and extra bike parking will be available in the back parking lot near Gate 3.
Westcoast Air will also be on hand on Sunday to provide one lucky fan with an opportunity to win a Canucks Package that includes airfare to Vancouver and tickets to an upcoming Canucks game!
Following Sunday's game, the Salmon Kings present their first of three "Skate with the Salmon Kings" for the 2009-10 season. Skates will be available to rent through the City of Victoria by donation. The Salmon Kings Booster Club will also be at Sunday's game providing face-painting for all kids!
Tomorrow night versus Stockton, the Salmon Kings' second version of their brand new 40-page souvenir program will be released for fans to purchase. Also, during the second intermission, another instalment of the "Chuck-a-Puck" promotion will be presented with proceeds helping the Sooke Minor Hockey Association. The Chuck-a-Puck winner will receive an exclusive fishing charter courtesy of Island Outfitters.
The Salmon Kings welcome the Stockton Thunder to the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre this weekend for a two-game set with matches on Friday, October 30th, and Sunday, November 1st. Puck-drop on Friday night is 7:05 p.m., while Sunday's contest starts at 1:05 p.m. Following the game on Sunday, fans are welcome to take part in the first of three "Skate with the Salmon Kings" for 2009-10.
