
Nick Shane Named President of Business Operations

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Dubuque Fighting Saints are proud to announce that Nick Shane has been named the organization's President of Business Operations. Shane will assume this role, effective immediately, and will take the reins of the tradition-rich Dubuque Fighting Saints organization.
"I would like to thank Northern Lights Hockey and Brad Kwong for providing me the opportunity to become president of the Dubuque Fighting Saints," Shane said. "I am excited to get to work with such a great organization with such a rich tradition, and I cannot wait to get started."
Shane joins the Dubuque Fighting Saints organization from Feld Entertainment, the worldwide leader in producing live touring family entertainment experiences such as Monster Jam, Monster Energy Supercross, AMSOIL Arenacross, Disney Live! and Disney On Ice. Shane served as the Director of Event Marketing and Sales at Feld Entertainment since 2008.
Shane helped secure a regional partnership with Chick-fil-A for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus as well as for Monster Jam, and additionally set new net ticket sales revenue records for all events in Houston.
"As an organization, we believe adding Nick will bolster our efforts in all facets of sales and marketing, and he will be a great fit to lead our team moving forward," said Katie Kenne, Vice President of Business Operations. "We welcome Nick and his family to the Dubuque Fighting Saints family, and we are excited to see where his leadership takes our organization in the future."
Shane has successfully promoted family friendly entertainment for the past 15 years. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania in 2001.
"My family and I are very excited to become a part of the Dubuque community and to raise our family in such a wonderful city with all-American values," Shane added.
Nick will live in Dubuque with his wife, Shannon, and his two kids Logan, 7, and MacKenzie, 4, along with Labrador mix Panther, a rescue dog.
A press conference has been scheduled for Friday, February 23 at noon to announce Nick Shane as President of Business Operations, with comments from Brad Kwong, the Managing Partner of Northern Lights Hockey, LLC, incoming President Nick Shane, and Jordan Kuhns, the Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations.
