
NHL Scouting Ranks Two Storm Players

Two Tri-City Storm players are ranked in the NHL Central Scouting's final rankings released Monday.
Right-Wing Grant Opperman (ranked 190) & Defenseman Eli May (ranked 207).
In all, 41 players - 35 skaters and six goalies - that have played a shift in the USHL are ranked in the final rankings.
Team USA - U18 defenseman Jacob Trouba (ranked 9) is the highest rated player that has played in the USHL, while Dubuque center Zemgus Girgensons (ranked 18) is the highest rated non-USNTDP player in the final rankings.
Also, Storm prospect Left-Wing Will Merchant (ranked 130) moved up 25 spots in the final rankings. Merchant plans to play at University of Maine next season, but remains property of Tri-City in the USHL.
The NHL Entry Draft begins June 22 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
