New York Red Bulls Loan Gideon Baah to NYRB II

HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls have loaned Gideon Baah to New York Red Bulls II of the United Soccer League (USL), the club announced today.

Red Bulls II takes on Charlotte Independence at Red Bull Arena on Sunday, May 1, at 4 p.m.

Per the Right of Recall incorporated into the loan agreement of Baah, the New York Red Bulls (MLS) retain the right to recall the player at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.

Baah, a native of Accra, Ghana, has started and played three MLS games this season. The defender left New York's March 19 match against Houston Dynamo with a hamstring injury and has not played since. The 24-year-old made his MLS debut on March 6 against Toronto FC after being acquired on Feb. 9, 2016, via transfer from Finnish club HJK Helsinki.

The New York Red Bulls' Sean Davis, Justin Bilyeu, Derrick Etienne Jr., Zach Carroll, Tyler Adams, Alex Muyl, Anatole Abang and Brandon Allen will also be available for NYRB II selection.
