New York Liberty Sign Joyner Holmes

NEW YORK - The New York Liberty have signed WNBA rookie free agent Joyner Holmes, the team announced today.

Holmes, a 6-3 forward from University of Texas at Austin, will round out the Liberty's rookie class as the team's seventh first-year player. She was selected 19th overall by the Seattle Storm in the 2020 WNBA Draft, and was later waived prior to the league-mandated roster finalization date of May 26.

The Cedar Hill, Texas native spent four years as a Longhorn totaling 1,270 points, 856 rebounds, 202 assists, and a field goal percentage of 42.5% over 114 contests.
