
New York Liberty Sign 2022 First Rounder Nyara Sabally

NEW YORK - The New York Liberty has signed 6-5 forward, Nyara Sabally, the team's No. 5 overall selection in the 2022 WNBA Draft, to a rookie scale contract.
Sabally, who played collegiately at Oregon, is yet to make her WNBA debut after missing the past season due to a right knee injury and subsequent procedure on May 3, 2022.
Most recently, the Berlin, Germany native averaged 15.4 points and 7.8 rebounds, totaled nine double-doubles, and converted on 52.7% (139-264) of her field goal attempts during the 2021-2022 season as a redshirt junior.
