
New York Liberty Sign 2020 WNBA Rookie of the Year Crystal Dangerfield

NEW YORK - The New York Liberty announced today that the team has signed Crystal Dangerfield on a hardship contract.
A 5-5 guard, Dangerfield joins the Liberty after spending her first two seasons with the Minnesota Lynx where she garnered the 2020 WNBA Rookie of the Year Award, and most recently, the Indiana Fever where she played in three contests to begin the 2022 season. In 55 career games, 29 of which were starts, Crystal has averaged 10.9 points, 3.1 assists and 1.9 rebounds while shooting 43.3% from the field, 34.4% from three and 90.0% at the free throw line.
Dangerfield will be available for the Liberty's upcoming road trip, beginning with the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday, May 24 at 8 p.m. ET on the YES App.
