
New York Battles Charlotte FC in Midweek Matchup at Red Bull Arena

The New York Red Bulls (4-6-7, 19 pts.) host Charlotte FC (6-8-4, 22 pts.) on Wednesday, June 21 at Red Bull Arena. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Eric Krakauer will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Lloyd Sam on the English side, Sergio Ruiz will have the play-by-play responsibilities alongside Miguel Gallardo on the Spanish broadcast. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.
This will be the fourth overall regular season meeting between New York and Charlotte, with the series tied with a 1-1-1 mark. The Red Bulls are unbeaten in their last two matches against Charlotte FC in MLS play. The first time the two clubs played this season was on March 25 at Bank of America Stadium, where the clubs battled to a 1-1 draw. Currently, Charlotte sits in 10th place with 22 points and are winless in their last three matches.
Forward Elias Manoel has recorded three career goals in two appearances against Charlotte FC, including one in their first matchup of the year on March 25 at Bank of America Stadium. The last time New York faced Charlotte at Red Bull Arena, Manoel scored his first career multi-goal game. The Brazilian forward has scored one goal across all competitions this season.
Following Wednesday's match, New York will remain at Red Bull Arena to face off against Atlanta United FC on Saturday, June 24. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
