Real Salt Lake News Release
HERRIMAN, Utah - Real Salt Lake (6-7-5, 23 pts., 8th West) continues yet another three-game week - its seventh in the last eight - Wednesday at CITY Park against St. Louis City SC (9-6-2, 29 pts., 1st West), with Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni's side unbeaten in 13 of its last 15 (eight wins, five draws) since April 22, a run which includes eight consecutive road results across both MLS and U.S. Open Cup play. The match marks RSL's maiden voyage to St. Louis, the 2023 expansion side which handed the Utah side its second-worst-ever home loss back in March, a 4-0 decision at America First Field that saw STL score all four in the second half as part of RSL's four-game early-season losing streak.
Kickoff between RSL and St. Louis begins at 6:30 p.m. MT on the Apple MLS Season Pass w/ Kevin Egan and Kyndra de St. Aubin (ENG) & Jose Hernandez and Pablo Marino (SPN); for local coverage, tune in at 5:30 p.m. MT for KSL Radio pre-game w/ David James & Jay Nolly via www.KSLSports.com / 1280 AM / 97.5 FM and www.KSLNewsRadio.com / 1160 AM).
RSL will make this trip without a quartet of internationals, as FW Jefferson Savarino (Venezuela), FW Rubio Rubin (Guatemala), FW Anderson Julio (Ecuador) and MF Braian Ojeda (Paraguay) each have been called away. All except Rubin are expected back in Utah for the weekend, as RSL returns home this Saturday, June 24 against Minnesota United; tickets can be found at www.RSL.com/tickets.
