
New Packers Assistant Coach Selected as Honorary Captain

The Green Bay Packers outside linebackers coach, Kevin Greene, will be the honorary captain for Friday's game against the Peoria Pirates. Greene will be participating in the opening coin toss before the game for the Blizzard.
Greene's new job with the Packers will be his frst full time NFL coaching job but has plenty of experience at the linebacker posi- tion ranking third all-time in sacks behind Bruce Smith and Reggie White. Finishing his career with 160 sacks ranks him frst all-time for linebackers.
During his 15 NFL seasons, Greene was a fve-time Pro Bowler and two-time frst-team All-Pro selection. He also played for cur- rent Packer defensive coordinator Dom Capers several times throughout his career.
The Blizzard currently ranks second in the arenafootball2 (af2) season stat totals with 19 sacks on the season. Anthony Hoke leads all Blizzard players with fve sacks so far this season which ranks eighth in the league.
Friday's game will also be another Budweiser Buck Night so all fans in attendance will be able to get $1 beer, soda and hot dogs making this game a fun and affordable fam- ily experience.
