
New Orleans VooDoo playoff tickets now on sale

The New Orleans VooDoo have announced tickets are now on sale to the team's first round playoff game, scheduled to be played June 6 at 2 p.m at the New Orleans Arena. This game will occur only if the VooDoo defeat the Austin Wranglers this Sunday, May 30. Game time is 3 p.m. at the New Orleans Arena. This is a very important game for the VooDoo as they try to improve their AFL playoff seeding.
With their record currently at 10-5, the VooDoo are involved in a tight playoff race on the road to Arena Bowl XVIII. Three playoff spots still remain open, with five teams competing for them on the final weekend of competition.
"We wanted to put the playoff tickets on sale early to give our great fans a chance to be a part of history", said VooDoo Executive Director Mike Feder. "The fans have been our Ninth Man in our tremendous home field success (6-1 record)."
Fans can purchase tickets at the New Orleans Saints ticket offices on 5800 Airline Drive in Metairie and at the Louisiana Superdome. Tickets for the playoff game can be purchased for as low as $8. Seats are available in most price levels. For more information fans can call 504-731-1700. Playoff tickets will also be on sale at the New Orleans Arena both during and after the VooDoo game on Sunday.
There will be several fun promotions for VooDoo fans at this Sunday's game. The first 10,000 fans will receive a complimentary inaugural season VooDoo team picture, compliments of Coyote Ugly. These can be used for autographs following the game when all fans are allowed on the field. In addition, VooDoo fans can enjoy a "Happy Hour" prior to the game, where $1 beers will be available at the Girod St. entrance to the New Orleans Arena from 2 â 3 p.m. The new Saintsations team will also be signing autographs from 2:00 â 2:30.
